Is Autum coming? It comes with the coolness of the air, the changing colors of the trees, the falling leaves. So beautiful! I miss the color of Autum, the colorful leaves, the sky and the air of Autum.

It turned out a busy weekend. We had a round-up Saturday, got up early around 6am, saddled my horse-charlie, rode up to the ranch where the cattle were around 8. Friends got up there almost at the same time. When I moved the cattle, found two small strawberry guaua trees, with some delious red fruits on it. Trees were very low, tried to reach them on the horse back, but could not; then realized that I need to concentrate, so just gave them up reluctantly. Was thinking to go back there sometime, dig them out and put in my yard:)

 

I had one in the yard though, tall, full of those delicious fruits. My friend was talking about it the other day over the phone. I showed her the tree and grabed some fruits for her when she visited about two weeks ago and she was telling me that she missed the fruits and had to come back soon.

 

Then went for a babyshower, which was really well organized. I thought babyshower is only for girls, but everyone showed up, great local food, such as Laulau. The monther baked great blueberry cheese cake, which was a winner.

 

It was a great week and weekend as always. Feel happy and grateful!

Peony is called MU DAN in Chinese and is China's national flower. These three are found in the Chinese Buddha Temple in Richmond and look very pretty!

 

 

 

This is called Chapman Creek at Sunshine coast, BC, at which Salmon hachery is located. Salmon are released here when they reach certain size. The they go to Alaska, then come back home again. How they could find a way back home? It is amazing. Also I heard one of the kind, pacific Salmon will die after giving birth. It is sad though. The manager of the hachery is a very nice and pleasant guy, showed us around and told me the story of pacific salmon. Before I thought all salmon die after giving birth. Anyway, it did and still does sound mysterious to me. Or maybe I do not like the fact of that. Or maybe because of that, I have a special feelings for Salmon!

Such a cute little thing! There are so many of them in Manning Park, amazingly, only that place, have so many of them. Last week, May aleady, however, still snow in the park, the beautiful lake was covered by snow all over, different spectacular!

 

I believe they belong to squirrel family, but not sure the name:). This is one of the luckiest coming out of his nest for the sun, becuase others are still under the snow.

 

Here is the Jericho beach near UBC where I graduated. Went there a month ago with my mom and took a few shots. Snow was still visible on the mountain. I am so in love with Vancouver!

I am excited! Excited for the trip to Vancover! Left there for a few months and I really miss the city and all! I miss skiing!!! I have already planned to go to Whistler when I am there:) So happy! Miss all my friends there, and the food! FOOD, yes, great food there!

 

Of course, have other things need to be handled, such as tax return, etc. Booked the ticket already. My girl friend will come back from Arizona during the period of time, so we will hang out. We did many things together when we both in Vancouver, I do miss her!

 

Life is so beautiful!

 

I feel great because simple things can make me very happy. I am a happy person, and love the simple pleasure of everthing. Kitty was sleeping on the table when I got home for lunch today. I did not see her, yelling"where is my kitty?" then I saw her sleeping soundly! I was walking toward here quietly, try not to wake her up and Surprise her, I know I am bad sometimes:). But she heard me:( You Got me Kitty! Just hold her paws, said hello!

 

 

 

This morning watching a group of dophins swimming by the cliff, what lovely creatures! Maybe 30-40 of them, spinning in the air, dancing and swimming. Stream-line body shine under the sun. And the whales join them too, but far away from the shore though. Two families, three of each. The black body floating on the surface then head up and down, the body is visible above the water, then the tails(if it is called the tails for whales). Such a beautiufl morning, I am so happy that I spent a few minutes out there and did not miss them. They are still there, palying, like a concert in the ocean. I could hear the music that they played.

Life has been treating me so well. I feel happy and contented. I feel so lucky because I have wonderful friends. I have love from all my families and friends and some one special! Thank you all! Thank you for what I had and what I have now. Life is so beautiful!

 

It is a beauty! I fell in love with her right away! When I was a kid, I was not a big fun of pearls, although I have "pearl" in my Chinese name. When time goes by, I love pearls more and more. It is elegant and classic! This one is an opera length salt water pearls, the clasp is very neat and lovely!
