Dine out Vancouver, went to the beach house at the dundarave pier. It was raining hard that day, but it was worthy it going all the way to west vancouver. The only pity is that it was so dark outside and rainy, otherwise the view and the walk will be remembered. You might noticed that in the photos, the main dish missed some parts already:) Yeah, forgot to take the pictures before starting to eat, haha.I love my appetizer which was Clams and mussels, unfortunately I did not remember to take a shot, the pork tenderlion was good too. I prefered the trout thought, but because of the seafood appetizer, I made a change:)

 

Great food, great company and lots of fun!

So busy these days!!! But feel consent. Working too much, so deserves something great:) Making plans to travel......hehe.

 

A gal friend made a beautiful necklace. She said I inspired her. I am flattered and so glad to see that little beauty is created under my inspiration:) The concept is "surfing". Then tonight, she is trying to fall asleep by making another one, "hawaii themed". Can not wait to see what it turns out to be.

 

People need inspirations to be creative. The inspiration comes from passion! We see beautiful things often, sometimes neglect how wonderful they are! Never stop looking for beauty and perfection, then our heart might be staying young forever!

Something is missing, I could feel it. I do not know what it is exactly, which bothers me! When facing the spectacular scene, facing the powerful ocean, I just feel something is missing. Or the empty in my heart is the power of the ocean? I do not know.When LANI talked about the "fear" and " anxiety", I wondered how he could know exactly how I feel for the ocean; It must be the reason that he is a surfer and he knows when he learned how to stand on the board and stay away from drowning.

 

I did not say then but I do feel Ocean is like Love, both are so powerful! You either survive or drown. And love makes me silent too! The Volcano is like a lady in love, when she wants to talk, the lava then forms an island!

 

 

Life is beautiful! I have no doubt of it. From paradise back to heaven! So many beautiful palces out there in this world, I believe so, but only Hawaii deserves to be called Paradise and Vancouver is the heaven. I know the winter in Vancouver is a "ug" for many people because it rains A LOT! But it has beautiful ocean and mountains, sailing in the summer, skiing in the winter!

 

This morning it was sunny and totally great, so went skiing. Late afternoon it started snowing up there. Powder snow, great, just need grooming, or too many snow boarders make so many bumps (sorry no bias on snowboarders at all!) Then came back, it rains again in the city, still now. Miss the hot weather on that tropical island! I am afraid of the cold things, that is why I did not go to Quebec 7 years ago:)

It is the second time in Honolulu for me. The first impression was not too good when I was there two years ago, because it is so busy! Lots of people!!! The only good memory is Hanauma bay, which I did not snorkel there when I visited for the first time, becuase my flight was three hours after I found that place.

 

This time, although I still do not like the BUSY part of this island, I do enjoy it a lot! It has beautiful beaches, and is a shopping paradise for the luxury brands. Waikiki shopping area is great! I tried a Dior black dress, which is so nice, expensive too, hehe. I told the girl that I will think of it. I finally did not get it, one reason is that I did not find time to go. Still think of that dress, might call to see if they can deliver it for me:) And also have to think of my budget, hehe:) 

Dec. 27th, went to Hanauma Bay, Tons of people:( It was said that it was the busiest time in the year. And it was cloesed on Boxing day, some say, they are trying to find all the excuse to close it to protect the park, not sure if it is true:)

 

Not a good day for me Sorkeling, but how could I miss it? So I rented a life jacket to go ahead! I know it is a shame that I could not swim, actually I can, but just very scared. It is the perfect spot for snorkelers, lots of fish, courful and beautiful. After a while, I had to head back, because I was swimming into a deep side, altough my friends were there, but they can not make me feel better from the fear. Anyway, I saw some fishy, haha.

 

I went to return the lifejacket, because I decided to just relax the rest of the day on the beach:) The guy working there was cute! He asked me I deposit card key or credit card, I said credit card. "what is your phone number?" I said spontaneously "604-765-****" ( Although I was wondering why he asked my phone number, it did not help at that time for finding my card) "Can I call you to have a date?" I was laughing and can only smile at that time. I got my credit card and turned back while he said "Love you, have a good day!" I was smiling and felt shy. Actually, nothing to be shy, I know, lovely guy, beautiful sky and romantic island......

Just came back from Maui tonight, which was just great! Love ocean, love to hear, to see, to touch, to smell it! Standing in front it, makes me silent; but so many thoughts in my mind that I want to tell someone who can listen and understand me!
